The Institute is looking for a new Communications Specialist!
The Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the Institute’s mission by implementing the Institute’s outreach and communications work. The role is critical in our efforts to inform and connect with the right stakeholders and audiences. The successful candidate has strong collaborative skills and a commitment to teamwork. Much of the role is focused on the Institute’s programs, which address how parks respond to health, food, climate change and urban development challenges. Working closely with the Institute Director, Program Managers and their teams, the Communications Specialist builds awareness about and support for the Institute and its programs through a range of communications tools, including online content and social media, traditional media, visual media, and other tools.

Today senior White House officials announced that all park visitors will have healthy and nutritious food choices at 250 food and beverage operations throughout the country, reaching 23 million meals served annually.
