Engaging Diverse Youth

Engaging Diverse Youth in Parks Programs identifies effective models for reaching a more diverse audience through innovative youth programming. This report highlights programs that have successfully engaged new audiences at two urban parks: the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. It identifies best practices, devises a roadmap, and offers a “how-to” guide for park leaders who want to create engaging youth programing for diverse groups and communities.
