Health Outdoors! Forum

The Institute, in partnership with HPHP: Bay Area and Bay Area Moves!, hosted the Health Outdoors! Parks and Public Health Forum in September 2016. The forum assembled 200 park, academic, nonprofit, and public health professionals and provided them with space to share best practices as they built mutually beneficial partnerships. Participants attended lectures and workshops addressing how to incorporate physical activity within their programs, how to create Park Prescription programs, and how partnerships between health and park agencies yield equitable built environments.
